Provincial police said emergency crews were called to Beachville Road near the intersection of East Hill Line and George Street at about 9:47 a.m. The collision involved an SUV and a sedan. The driver of the sedan — later identified by police only as a 21-year-old Woodstock resident — was pronounced dead at the scene.
